The actor and his wife have been called to declare to the court in Marbella on Friday
The General Council for Judicial Power, the body which oversees the judiciary in Spain, has rejected the complaint from the Marbella Instruction Judge, Ricardo Puyol, that a letter delivered to him from Sir Sean Connery via the British Ambassador to Spain, Giles Paxman, had put pressure on him given its contents and the threat from the actor to start legal action.
